Arameras Beach Resort
If you are looking for a stylish place far away from all hustle and bustle, Arameras is one of the best rated hotels in the south of Ksamil island.
This blog post will guide you on where to stay in Ksamil, recommend the optimal number of nights to spend, and introduce you to the best hotels in the area.

Ksamil, a small paradise on the Albanian Riviera, is located on the southwest coast of Albania. The small town lies only about 15 kilometres south of the city of Saranda, which is one of the most important tourist cities in Albania. Ksamil is known for its stunning beaches and crystal clear waters. One feature that sets it apart from other destinations in the region is its proximity to the Greek island of Corfu, which lies just across the Ionian Sea from Ksamil, only about 2 kilometres away.

You will find a range of different accommodation option in Ksamil ranging from simple guest houses and apartments to cosy boutique hotels and luxury resorts.
Here are my top 3 accommodations in Sarande for each budget. Read on for a more comprehensive breakdown with recommendations from each area.
If you are looking for a stylish place far away from all hustle and bustle, Arameras is one of the best rated hotels in the south of Ksamil island.
Best choice for first-timer with modern amenities, spotless rooms, and a prime location near the main beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms come with a beautiful, modern design.
A great choice in the southern part of Ksamil in a more quiet spot. Parking is included, simple breakfast and close enough to all areas that you can walk around. Some of the rooms come with balcony.
Ksamil is located in the south of the country, at the narrowest point of the Strait of Corfu. You can easily reach the small resort just south of Saranda.
I recommend flying to Corfu Airport (CFU), which is 20 km from Ksamil. When you arrive in Corfu, you can take a ferry across the Ionian Sea to Albania.
The ferry will take you to the Albanian city of Sarande. From there, you can take a bus or a taxi directly to Ksamil beach. The beach village is only 12 km south of Sarande. Ferry and bus from Corfu to Ksamil will take 3 hours.
Ksamil is often referred to as ‘the pearl of the Adriatic’, and after our visit we know why. The islands off the coast offer a unique bathing experience and countless beach bars invite you to stroll.
The best time to visit southern Albania is between April and October. However, in the holiday months of July and August, popular places like Ksamil get packed.
It is important to note that the party atmosphere in Ksamil is mainly limited to the peak season summer months, especially during the high season (July and August). Outside these periods, Ksamil is rather quiet and an ideal place for those seeking relaxation. If you are looking for a quieter stay, it is advisable to choose the low season to enjoy the beauty of Ksamil without the crowds.
The centre of Ksamil is compact. You won’t find a pedestrian zone here. Instead, there are small shops for your daily needs, larger and smaller restaurants and pastry shops. The place is completely designed to provide holidaymakers with everything they require in proximity during their stay by and in the pristine waters.

Hotel Meta: If you’re looking for a top-rated stay in Ksamil, Hotel Meta is a favorite for good reason: With modern amenities, spotless rooms, and a prime location. The hotel is located just 500 metres from Ksamil Beach and within walking distance of other popular beaches, making it ideal for exploring the seaside resort. ☑ Click here to book Hotel Meta Ksamil Beach.

Hotel Olive: This hotel is my preferred choice for a quiet and relaxed hotel with sea view in Ksamil. A very modern hotel, breakfast is fantastic, varied and served with a view of the sea at Lori Beach. The service here was particularly friendly. Two beaches are reachable in easy walking distance. ☑ Click here to book Hotel Olive Lori Beach.
Those who are looking for a more lively holiday are best served by Bora Bora Beach area. I spent most of my party nights here because the beach clubs stay open late, and the music is pumping. Ksamil is a magnet for nightlife lovers during summer, and this is the perfect place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it.

Hotel Olive: This hotel is my recommendation for all party lovers. Run by a friendly family, the modern hotel, comes with spacious rooms, great breakfast and great location just a few steps away from the main party beaches. ☑ Click here to book Hotel Olive Lori Beach.

Hotel Joni (mid-range): A newly renovated hotel, with superb rooms, friendly staff and a truly exceptional breakfast. The modern rooms come with comfortable beds. Although the hotel is located just 300m away from the beach right in the centre, it is not noisy here at night. ☑ Click here to book Hotel Joni.
My favourite Beach Clubs spots in Bora Bora:

Arameras Beach Resort (Luxury): For those seeking to stay more in nature, completely away from the hustle and bustle, Arameras Resort on the southern tip of the main Ksamil island is the best choice. The resort lies in a small secluded bay about a 20min drive from Ksamil centre. ☑ Click here to book Arameras Beach Resort.

Lake View Rooms Ksamil (budget): Choose this hotel if you are looking for a quiet location while conveniently situated close to the main beaches and restaurants. The new rooms are beautiful and come with quality furnishings, ample free parking is also available.
Ksamil is one of the most attractive holiday resorts on the Albanian Riviera. A sheltered bay with perfectly white sand and crystal-clear water lies at the heart of the resort town, offering a romantic and picturesque retreat. I recommend avoiding the busy summer months when it gets crowded and fairly expensive.
Prices vary from beach to beach, ranging from a minimum of 1000 lek (10 euros) to 50 euros for those that cater to tourists in some more expensive areas of Ksamil. On the old beaches, prices are around 2000 lek per umbrella and sun lounger.
